In order to meet the contemporary needs of the library user, the Vijaygarh Jyotish Ray College Central Library offers the following value-added services:

1. In library all sections are given Open Access for faculties and students get access to the lending material through library catalogue cards or through WEBOPAC.
2. The newly added resources to library like books, journals, magazines, etc. are displayed for the convenience of students and faculty members so that they could be aware of the updated library collection. Newly added resources are set aside for display at least forten days.
3. Library provides access to e-journals and e-books through N-LIST
4. Reading room facility is available for students as well as for faculties
5. Computer facility is available for students as well as for staff also
6. The library catalogue of books and other library materials can be accessed through WebOPAC
7. Students can get xerox facility at a reasonable rate for the materials not issued for home use if xerox machine and staff provided by the college authority.
